Hi, I’m Loreale—welcome to At Home with Loreale.
If your home has ever felt cluttered, overwhelming, or like no matter how much you clean, it never quite stays under control… I know that feeling.
For a long time, I thought the answer was simple: clean more, organize better, decorate it so it looked put together.
But no matter how much effort I put in, something still felt off.

What I’ve learned since then is this—most of us don’t have a “decor” problem.
We have a function problem.
We’re trying to make real life work inside spaces that weren’t designed for it.
I live with my husband and son in a 1930s, 2-bedroom, 1-bath home just under 900 square feet. It’s small, it has quirks, and it definitely doesn’t check all the boxes of a “dream home.”
But learning how to work with my home instead of against it changed everything.
Through a mix of thoughtful design, strategic DIY, and simple systems, I’ve been able to turn our space into one that feels calmer, more functional, and easier to manage day-to-day.
Not perfect—but intentional. And that’s what makes the difference.
That’s also what this space is about.
At At Home with Loreale, I don’t just share projects for the sake of making things look better. Everything here is rooted in one goal: helping you create a home that actually supports your life.
Here, you’ll find:
- Practical DIY projects that improve how your home functions—not just how it looks
- Space planning strategies for small or awkward layouts
- Simple systems that help you stay on top of your home without feeling overwhelmed
- Real-life solutions designed for real homes, real budgets, and real routines
This is for the woman who is doing her best to manage a home, a family, and everything in between—and just wants her space to feel a little more calm, a little more under control.
Because your home should support you… not exhaust you.
My goal is simple: to help you create a home that feels good to live in—one that gives you more ease, more clarity, and more breathing room in your everyday life.
You don’t need a bigger house.
You don’t need perfect systems.
You don’t need to start over.
You just need a better way to make your home work for you.
And you’re in the right place to learn how.
